Creative Spirit is our 8-week summer day camps for 7 to 12 year olds. Throughout the summer, children will have the opportunity to work with a variety of art materials along with creating unique pieces of art. Children will be having so much fun, they will not even realize they are learning at the same time!

Each week has a different arts theme for your child to have a blast while exploring the arts. Here is what we have in store for each week!

*Minimum enrollment for each session is 5, maximum enrollment is 20 per class*

June 4th - June 8th

2D design features a variety of art subjects which include drawing, encaustics, and photography. Throughout the week, we will learn about contour drawing and abstract works, make your own scratchboards, and experience the wonders of inside and outdoor photography.

June 11th - June 15th
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: May 29th

This week will be creating form, shape and dimension through visual art. Children will build sculptures, learn how to weave, and get messy with paper mache. If your child loves to construct and assemble stuff then this is the week for them!

June 18th - June 22nd
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: June 4th

Ever wonder what you could use sticks, leaves, and rocks for? Art of course. This week will incorporate all of these items along with other nature finds. Make sure you have your SPF because this week will be all about getting outside and seeing the beautiful art forms found in nature!

June 25th - June 29th
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: June 11th

Beads, pendents, etchings, oh my! This week is all about exploring the ins and outs of various glass arts. Get fired up to fuse your pieces in our kiln, which we will use to help you create a glass tile and pendent. This session is also great for aspiring jewelry designers, since we will be covering the techniques for making glass beads.

July 9th - July 13th

Learn how to create wonderful pieces of art using a variety of paints including acrylic, tempera, and watercolor. This week also features our popular Jackson Pollock splatter paint project!

July 16th - July 20th
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: June 18th

Wire and Metal will be transformed into crazy creations ranging from flexible “glass” sculptures to metal embossing. With proper safety guidelines and precautions, children will have a unique opportunity to experiment with these two out-of-the-ordinary materials.

July 23rd - July 27th

Want to know more about art that is made across the world? We begin with North America and work our way through most of the continents in just 5 days. So, pack your imaginary bags and get ready for the adventure of a lifetime!

The Green Movement is alive and kicking for our final week of Creative Spirit. Turn your trash into innovative pieces of art. This week will be learning about alternative ways to recycle and reuse items that are typically thrown away. From toilet paper rolls to plastic bags, no “junk” will be left unturned!

We also have discounts available for families with more than one child participating. The first child will pay full-price with a 10% discount for every additional child attending that same week.
