In evaluating Mini-Grant proposals and establishing funding priorities for the award of JCAC monies to individuals and groups, the Scholarship/Grant committee shall consider innovative projects that focus on one or more of the Junction City Arts Council Goals. Please indicate which goal(s) are addressed in your proposal

Salaries - this can include the fees/salaries paid to a visiting artist or instructor
Staff Training - workshops and conferences can be included in this category, provided it is directly related to arts programming that will occur in the classroom
Cost of supplies and materials directly related to a specific event. If materials will have long-term use, beyond that of the initial program or event that this proposal is being submitted for, please indicate that in proposal description.

Mini-Grants application cycles

We work on four cycles a year. The dollar amount of available money may differ for each cycle, but will be made available here. For the applicants consideration we will publicize the number of applicants we receive for each cycle.

Closed Cycle one, for projects to occur July through September 2009 - applications accepted Jan. 1 through Mach 31. Awards announced May 1.   there is $1,000 available for this grant cycle.

OPEN Cycle two for projects to occur October through December 2009 - applications will be accepted April through June 2009. Awards to be announced August 1. To date 0 applications received; there is $1,000 availablefor this grant cycle

CLOSED Cylce three for projects to occur Jan. 1 through March 31 2010 - applications will be accepted July 2009 through September 2009. Awards to be announced November 1, 2009.

CLOSED Cycle four for projects to occur April 2010 thorugh June 2010 - applications will be accepted Oct. 2009 through December 2009. Awards to be announced February 1, 2009.
