Emerging Artists

The Emerging Artist after-school classes are designed to educate elementary school children in art styles and techniques.

Registration for this program begins now; Registration Forms are available at the Arts Council, 107 W. 7th St (and will be available soon on-line).  Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis and space is limited.  Note:  Christmas week The Tuesday/Wednesday classes will be combined and meet on Tuesday, December 22, same time, same place.

Classes will meet once a week:  Tuesdays for children K-2nd grade and Wednesdays for children 3rd through 5th grade.  Classes are from 4:00 to 5:30.  There will be no classes on the fifth Tuesday or Wednesday of any month.

The Current youth Schedule:

- November - Drawing $20 for the month

- December - Christmas/holiday decorating $28 for the month

- January - Painting/watercolor $20 for the month

- February - Painting/acrylic $28 for the month

 - March - Mosaic (price to be determined)

- April - Instructor's choice $20 for the month
