Murder Mystery Dinners

The JCAC hosts three murder mystery dinners each year. These dinners have proven to be very popular and generally sell out quick. For your convenience on-line registration is now available.

The dinners are $25 per person and attendees become the investigators in the crime.

How it works

Those who participate will arrive at the wake of the dearly departed. Once there they will be seated in teams of six. You can sign up as a team, or you will join others on a team. The suspects will be introduced and each of them will tell a little about themselves and their relationship to the victim.

Listen carefully here as you will hear important clues. You will also find (not so) cleverly hidden clues on your table. After you hear from the suspects you will go through the dinner buffet and over dinner you and your fellow investigators will examine the clues you have and begin developing your line of questioning.

After dinner your team will rotate through the interrogation rooms where you will have about seven minutes to interrogate each suspect. After all the teams have been questioned all the suspects, you will return to the dining room where desert will be served and you will have one last chance in question suspects.

Then, a member of each team will annouce who they believe is the guilty party. And finally the chief inspector will announce the final verdict.
